The Sinkyone State Park is in the Lost Coast, a rugged stretch of the coast in California where there is no highway near the ocean.
The area is remote, rugged, and spectacular, but it is hardly a "wilderness" is the pure sense. There are only a few small groves of old forest left, there are sveral old townsites in the area, and there's considerable ongoing grazing activity. Still, the isolation of this region belies the human impacts.
